Tradition meets innovation
A traditional company with a vision for the future
For over 60 years, the name Hochreiter has stood for high-quality meat products from the Mühlviertel. Margarete and Gottfried Hochreiter founded the company in 1958 and handed it over to their son Wolfgang Hochreiter in 1992 with 5 employees. Since then, the company has continued to develop.
One of the biggest steps in the Hochreiter Group’s success story was its entry into the convenience products sector in 2013 and the founding of Condeli GmbH at the production site in Reichenthal. Condeli quickly grew to become the second-largest lasagne producer in Europe and now supplies over 20 countries worldwide.
The company also continues to grow in the hotel industry, the second pillar of the Hochreiter Group. In addition to the Vortuna and AM KOGL health centers, the Auszeit ****Hotel St. Lambrecht, Sternsteinhof and Hotel Freigold were added to the portfolio.
